Privacy Policy

PlayMockUp does not upload your screenshots. All editing, rendering, and exporting happens locally — on your device in the app, and in your browser in the online studio. We do not require an account, we do not track you across other apps, and we do not sell data to anyone.

The website is separate from the app. The in-browser studio at /create runs entirely in your browser — any screenshot you load is processed client-side and is never uploaded to our servers.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — which pages are visited, device type, and approximate region. GA4 sets analytics cookies; it does not collect personally identifiable information and we don't use it to identify individual visitors. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

• Your screenshots, images, projects, or exports — these stay on your device.
• Personal account information — there are no accounts.
• Contact lists, browsing history, location, or microphone data.

Your screenshots, project metadata (project names, render settings), and exported mockups are stored only on your device using Android's standard local storage (Hive key-value database for metadata and the file system for images). They never leave your device unless you choose to share or export them.

PlayMockUp uses two third-party services to keep the app free:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).We show banner ads, interstitials between workflows, and a rewarded video that removes the watermark. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers per Google's policy. Review Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Play Services.Used for installation, updates, and the ads framework. Subject to Google's policy linked above.

• Photos and media access — to read screenshots you choose and save exported mockups.
• Internet access — to load ads and update the app.
• Network state — to detect when you go offline.

PlayMockUp is rated for everyone but is intended for users 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will delete any associated data.

We may update this policy if we change how the app works. We will publish the new version here and update the "last updated" date above.
